Design My Family Tree is a small shop with a big purpose. I design a beautiful nature-inspired custom print of your family tree to celebrate your ancestry. Your order gives back: £10 to Fertility Network UK to support those struggling to start or grow a family, and £10 to National Trust to plant a tree for the generations to come. Family is at the heart of our lives, bringing connection, care, and a sense of belonging. But for those facing infertility, the journey can be heartbreaking and isolating. I believe everyone deserves the support and choice to grow their family. That’s why donations from every custom order go to Fertility Network UK. They supported my partner and me through our egg sharing journey. Now we’re proud parents to three boys (including identical twins) and grateful to have helped another family welcome twins of their own.
Committed to trees
My designs are inspired by a deep admiration for trees, their strength, beauty, and quiet role in sustaining life. I’m especially inspired by how trees thrive together in forests, nurturing and protecting one another through their root systems. As they grow, they support generations, much like families do. That’s why I donate to the National Trust to plant a tree for every order. Trees clean our air, support wildlife, reduce flood risk, and protect the wellbeing of future generations.
How it all began
The idea for this shop began in 2012 when I created a family tree print for my grandparents. It was a challenge, coming from a wonderfully large family, and sparked something that stayed with me. I grew up in a family of designers going back three generations, and during wartime in a rural village, I found comfort and inspiration in nature whenever I could. Bringing together my love of family, my fascination with trees, and my talent for design, I created Design My Family Tree and set up shop in 2018.

This shop is a project that I am very passionate about. The rest of my time I work as a social and ecological innovation leader, creating or amplifying ideas that make our world better. I live in a lovely century old cottage in Greenwich, London with my wonderful husband and three cheeky little boys. Our neighbourhood is surrounded by beautiful ancient woods.
